Confused.com: Cheap Insurance lives on comparison rather than on selling one policy of its own. By our assessment, that is its real strength: it helps people look across motor, home, travel and other insurance quotes in one place, which is exactly the kind of job a comparison app should do. The downside is built in, because a comparison screen can only be as helpful as the details entered and the offers it is showing at that moment. In practice it feels like a quick screening tool, not a place for deep advice or long-term account management. It sits with the big UK comparison brands, where speed and breadth matter more than elegance. Confused.com: Cheap Insurance makes most sense when the aim is to compare a few options quickly and move on.
