Personal notes are the clear promise in Cipher: Secret Private Notes, while the word “private” raises a separate question about how protection works. Cipher: Secret Private Notes, by our assessment, has a readily understandable purpose, but the name alone cannot establish what security or privacy features it provides. Its stated focus is note-taking, not a verifiable account of how those notes are protected.
