ChordBud 2 AUv3 MIDI Sequencer is the more structured kind of sequencing tool, built for shaping chord-led MIDI parts inside an AUv3 setup. Its real strength is orderly pattern work: chords, steps, and repeats can be arranged without the clutter of a full DAW. By our assessment, it should suit users who think in progressions and want that translated into MIDI quickly, but it is still a sequencer, so it expects some planning and editing. In practice that means a lot of small adjustments rather than instant gratification, which is normal for this category. Against simpler loop tools it gives more control, and against a full production app it stays much narrower. The 2 and 3 in the title are simply part of the recorded name.
