Cartão Magalu is for people who want a retail-branded card rather than a plain bank card with no store link at all. By our assessment, its main draw is the connection to the Magalu shopping ecosystem, which makes the card feel tied to a place where purchases already happen. The limit is also obvious: a store card is only as interesting as the shopper’s use of that ecosystem, so it has less reach than a general-purpose bank card. In practice, this kind of app is about managing the card, checking account-style information, and keeping the retail tie-in in view.
