CalmEyes: Dark Mode Browser is for people who want a darker, gentler-looking browser while they read and tap around on a phone, and by our assessment, the attraction is mostly about reducing visual glare. The obvious strength is the dark interface itself, which can be easier on the eyes in dim light and keeps bright pages from feeling so harsh. The downside is that this kind of browser is still a browser, so the real work depends on the pages you open, and dark mode cannot fix awkward sites or make them simpler. In practice it is a small comfort app wrapped around web browsing, not a different way of browsing. CalmEyes: Dark Mode Browser makes sense when screen brightness is the problem, not when the problem is the website.
