Learning the C-system layout is the specific task named by C-System CBA Accordion Tutor, an app for chromatic button accordion study. That focus can give practice a clearer target than a general music lesson, since the button layout is central to playing this kind of accordion. By our assessment, the subject is practical and clearly defined, but the title alone does not show how much instruction, notation or feedback the app provides. A digital tutor can support familiarity with the layout; it cannot develop touch and musical control without time at the instrument.
