Braintoss

Braintoss is for people who want to capture a thought immediately and sort it out later. Its main strength is that it reduces friction to almost nothing: you toss in an idea, note, voice clip, or image, and the app gets it out of your head fast. By our assessment, that makes it useful as a capture bin rather than a place to do serious organization. The downside follows from that same simplicity, because it is not where long projects, deep tags, or careful planning really live. In practice it feels fast, slightly bare, and aimed at the moment when forgetting is the bigger risk than messiness. Compared with fuller note apps, Braintoss is thinner but quicker, which is exactly the trade. It is a sensible pick for people who mainly need to stop ideas disappearing, and a weak fit for anyone expecting a rich notebook with structure.
