By our assessment, its main strength is the obvious one: tasks can be arranged and moved in a way that matches how many teams actually think about work. That makes it pleasant for quick status checks and simple planning. The trade-off is that board tools can start to feel cramped once a project gets complicated, because every extra column or card adds clutter. In practice, this kind of app asks for regular upkeep, but the payoff is a cleaner sense of what is moving and what is stuck. Compared with full project suites, Boardly sounds lighter and less loaded with process, which helps when the work itself is straightforward. It stays close to boards and tasks, and does not pretend to be a giant management system.
