Blitzlesen: Das Original is aimed at speed reading practice, so it appeals to people who want short, repeated drills rather than a full reading course. By our assessment, its real strength is the format itself: quick flashes of text that push recognition and pace, not slow classroom-style explanation. The downside is that this kind of training can feel mechanical, and it only helps if the user keeps coming back often enough for repetition to matter. In practice, that means a lot of brief attention and not much hand-holding. Compared with general literacy apps, it is narrower and more drill-like, which is exactly why it can work for its specific purpose. It is not trying to be a complete language app, and that narrowness is the whole point.
