BIT

Travel apps can cover anything from route finding to ticket storage, and BIT’s exact focus is not clear from its name alone. It is a travel app, but that broad category does not tell a traveller what task it handles or what information it offers. By our assessment, there is too little concrete to credit BIT with a particular strength or to compare it fairly with maps, booking services, or transit apps. The practical experience of a travel app depends heavily on whether it solves the specific problem at hand. Until its main purpose is clear, the useful thing to know is simply that BIT belongs in the travel-app space, not which part of a trip it covers.
