Azar : Chat, Amis

Azar : Chat, Amis lives in the crowded video-chat corner of social apps, where the draw is meeting strangers quickly and talking face to face instead of trading messages. By our assessment, its appeal is the low-friction first contact: open the app, get matched, and the conversation can start without much setup. The downside is the same thing that makes this category lively, because random matching also brings uneven quality and the usual moderation headaches that come with stranger-to-stranger chat. In practice it is a swipe-and-chat experience, fast and disposable rather than built for long, careful conversations. Compared with messaging apps or friend-based social networks, it is looser and less personal, and that is both the point and the limit. The name tells you the mood, but not the control; that gap is what decides whether it feels fun or thin.
