Average Camera Pro

Average Camera Pro is a camera app for people who want a straightforward shooting interface without much ceremony. By our assessment, its best side is the plainness itself: a camera app that keeps the focus on taking pictures rather than hiding the controls under a lot of decoration. The downside is the ceiling that comes with that sort of simplicity, because a lean camera app rarely gives the depth or specialty tools of heavier photo suites. In practice this kind of app feels quick and utilitarian, with the main job being to open, frame, and shoot. Average Camera Pro sits in the crowded middle ground of camera apps, where clarity matters more than novelty.
