Art Sonic

Art Sonic serves the basic job of putting music playback in one place for people who want a simple listening app. By our assessment, that kind of app is at its best when it keeps the controls plain and lets the user get to tracks quickly. The downside is equally plain: a music app with a generic name in the catalogue gives little to go on, so there is no solid sign of a distinctive library, social layer, or specialist feature set. In practice that leaves it sounding like a straightforward media player rather than a platform with a strong identity. Art Sonic is the sort of app that only stands out if its actual music handling is better than the name suggests.
