Amharic is a less familiar choice for many language learners than Spanish or French, and Apprendre l'amharique puts that language directly in focus. By our assessment, a dedicated learning app could make a useful entry point, though the name does not tell how it teaches or how far it goes. Amharic uses the Ethiopic script, so reading practice involves learning a different writing system as well as new words.
