Appareil Photo Jetable: DisCam

Appareil Photo Jetable: DisCam recreates the feel of a disposable camera, so it appeals to people who want a casual, retro photo look rather than precision editing. By our assessment, its main strength is the single-minded style: it aims for the disposable-camera mood instead of a broad bag of tools. The downside is that this is a niche effect, so once the novelty fades, the app has to be judged on how much people actually want that look. In use, it is likely to feel more like a themed camera filter than a full photography app. It sits with novelty photo apps and retro effects, not with serious mobile cameras or editors. Appareil Photo Jetable: DisCam is most convincing as a style choice, not as a general camera replacement.
