Anchor Alarm - Anchor Watch

Anchor Alarm - Anchor Watch is the sort of app boaters use when they want a phone to keep an eye on the anchor instead of staring at the water themselves. By our assessment, its best feature is the simple safety logic: set a watch zone and get warned if the boat drifts out of it. That makes it more practical than a generic timer or note app, because the whole point is one clear job. The downside is that it depends on the phone, signal, and GPS behaving properly, so it is only as solid as the hardware under it. In use it is calm, watchful, and a little nerve-saving on a boat that does not sit still. Anchor Alarm - Anchor Watch is for anchored trips, not for someone looking for a broad marine toolkit.
