AirMusic

AirMusic is built around sending music from a phone to external speakers or other playback devices, so it appeals to people who want the phone to act as a source, not a tiny speaker in their hand. By our assessment, its strength is the practical bridge it makes between a local music library and devices around the room. The trade-off is that this kind of app depends on the rest of your setup: if the target device or network setup is awkward, the experience will be less smooth. In practice, the job is mostly about choosing what to play and where to send it, then leaving the app to do the routing. It sits closer to a playback helper than to a media service, and that is a sensible place for it. The name is plain, and the function is plain too. It stops being interesting only when someone expects it to be a music source instead of a connector.
