AirBrowser - AirPlay browser sits in a narrow corner of the App Store: it is for people who want to browse AirPlay-capable devices and send media to them from a browser-style interface. By our assessment, the main virtue is that it narrows a fiddly task down to a simple, device-focused screen instead of making the user hunt through a general settings maze. The downside is obvious too: it only matters if AirPlay is part of your setup, and then its usefulness depends on how well your devices already cooperate. In practice these apps tend to feel like a small control panel rather than a full app, all shortcuts and little state changes. Compared with Apple's own built-in AirPlay flow, its value is in extra convenience, not in doing something fundamentally different. People outside that setup have little reason to reach for it, and even inside it the ceiling is fairly low.
