Accelonome

Accelonome is a metronome app for musicians who want a steady tempo on a phone. By our assessment, that is all it mainly promises: a clear click, a simple tempo reference, and little ceremony around it. The downside is the same as with most metronome tools — once the job is just counting time, there is not much room for surprise or depth. In practice it should feel like a utility rather than a creative tool, something opened, set, and closed again. Compared with larger music apps, it lives at the plainest end of the category, where reliability matters more than features. The name fits the job exactly, which is reassuring if a metronome is all that is needed.
