ALDI Grocery Pickup & Delivery

ALDI Grocery Pickup & Delivery is for turning a supermarket run into a slot on a screen, with pickup and delivery as the whole point. By our assessment, that narrow focus is the strength: it handles the basic grocery flow without pretending to be a full marketplace, and it fits shoppers who already know ALDI’s limited-assortment style. The downside is just as plain, because the app is only as broad as the chain’s own inventory and service area, so it will never feel like a giant all-purpose store. In practice it is a utilitarian grocery tool: search, choose, schedule, repeat. Compared with Instacart or a broader supermarket app, it is less flexible but more direct, and it keeps the process tied to ALDI’s own way of selling food. It is at its best when the goal is simple weekly shopping; it is not meant for wandering, comparison shopping, or building a cart from many different retailers.
