www.ebanking.hrel-france.com/login is a login page built around online banking, so it is aimed at people trying to reach an account rather than browse a full company site. By our assessment, the main thing it offers is a direct sign-in path, which is useful in the narrow way banking portals are useful: fast access if you already know what you are doing. The downside is that a login screen is all gate and no explanation, and that leaves users with very little context to judge. In practice these pages are spare, repetitive, and often more about credential entry than about the institution behind them. Compared with a bank home page, this is a much thinner object; compared with a normal marketing site, it is not trying to persuade anyone at all. The limit is obvious: if you do not already trust the address, the page itself gives you almost nothing to work with.
