sETH2 is another Ethereum-linked token, but the extra 2 in the name is part of the label itself, not a claim about size or performance. By our assessment, it sits in the same wrapped or synthetic corner as other DeFi assets that try to mirror ETH exposure while remaining usable inside protocols. That makes it practical in technical settings where compatibility matters more than simplicity. The cost is the usual one for this kind of asset: another layer of structure to understand, plus dependence on the system that issues or tracks it.
