Sushi

Sushi is a familiar DeFi name, but the thing itself is really the SushiSwap ecosystem and its governance token, aimed at users who trade on decentralized exchanges and follow liquidity incentives. By our assessment, the clear strength is that it sits inside a well-known piece of DeFi plumbing rather than floating as a blank meme coin. The downside is just as concrete: governance tokens are often far more talked about than used, and Sushi depends on the health of its protocol, liquidity, and community interest. In practice that means swapping, pool management, and keeping an eye on incentives instead of ordinary, simple payment use. It sits in the crowded middle of DeFi, where Uniswap and other DEX platforms are the obvious comparison points. If someone wants exposure to that part of crypto, Sushi has a real protocol behind it; if someone wants a token with a plain everyday role, this is not that.
