Spotlight

Spotlight is a name that leaves almost everything to the project behind it, and that is the first thing to notice. By our assessment, it can work fine as a brandable crypto label, but the label itself tells you very little about function, mechanics, or audience. That makes it hard to praise as a piece of product design and equally hard to judge as anything more than a placeholder. In practice, a name like this tends to demand outside reading before it says much at all. It sits with the many cryptos whose identity depends on the surrounding description, not on the word on its own.
