IRISnet

IRISnet is the sort of crypto project that tries to be useful as plumbing: a network layer rather than a flashy consumer coin. By our assessment, that gives it a clearer identity than many tokens whose only job is to exist on a chart. The good part is that a network-first design can support transfers, interoperability, or application logic more cleanly than a pure hype token. The downside is also familiar: infrastructure can be hard to notice, and if there is little real usage, the promise stays mostly technical. In practice, IRISnet asks for more interest in the underlying system than most casual holders want to give.
