Frontier

Frontier is one of those cryptocurrency names that says little on its own, so the coin has to do its work through whatever it actually offers. By our assessment, that usually leaves it judged as a plain crypto token first: something for transfers, speculation, or whatever niche the project around it is trying to serve. The upside of that kind of token is flexibility; the downside is that, without a very clear purpose, it can blur into the crowd of similar names. In practice, coins like this live or die on whether people can explain why they need this one rather than the next token with a different label. Frontier sits in the broad middle of crypto, not in the small group that is easy to describe in one sentence. It is the sort of thing that only becomes interesting if the project behind it gives it a real job.
