Decentraland is a crypto token tied to a virtual-world project, so it mainly matters to people who want land, items, or governance inside that ecosystem. By our assessment, the appeal is the clear link between the token and a named metaverse use case, which is easier to grasp than many coins with no visible purpose. The downside is just as plain: outside that world, the token has little reason to matter, and its value depends on a platform that not everyone wants to use.
