Covenant

Covenant is another cryptocurrency name that leans on seriousness and promise, which is a common trick in token naming but says little on its own. By our assessment, the public shape of it is too thin to make out a clear use case, so it belongs with the many coins that are easier to name than to explain. The main strength, if one can call it that, is the branding: it sounds like a project built around trust or agreement. The downside is that a name like this can easily outrun the actual product, and then holders are left with a token whose everyday role is hard to pin down. In practice that usually means watching charts and project claims more than using it for anything concrete. Covenant sits far behind the major coins and well short of anything with a durable payment or platform identity.
