DePIN on TON powers AI

One network. Two kinds of power.

Your devices become vantage points that watch the web from everywhere at once — and, when you want, minds that help train AI. Both earn Astra Points, and every result carries the number of devices that agreed.

A monitoring grid the size of the internet

One server sees a site from one place. Thousands of devices see it from everywhere — so "is it up, fast and secure?" gets a real, geo-distributed answer that no single data center can give.

Live network stats
How fast the answers came back 38,882 confirmed measurements over 7 days

Median 141 ms · 95% under 1,430 ms · 82% answered in under 300 ms. Milliseconds, measured by the devices themselves — the bar over a mark holds everything from that mark up.

Live devices by hour 30 nights measured in US

In US between 02:00 and 06:00 UTC too few devices were live on 30 of 30 nights; customer checks that require US cannot be confirmed then. Measured every hour; a night counts only when all four of its hours were measured.

Why it is different

Distributed network vs a single server

One machine reports what it can see from where it stands. A result several independent devices agreed on is a different kind of answer.

The bigger goal

Building our own AI — on the network itself

Right now our AI features run on cloud providers. The goal is to run our OWN model — an Opus-4.8-class AI — distributed across the devices in the network, with no vendor and no per-token bill. Every device that shares a little spare memory brings it closer.

1AI-ready devices in the network
3needed to run 8B on the network
T0 any device Embeddings, classification, dedup and moderation — independent work, no exchange between devices.
T1 3 devices One device holds a whole quantized 8B model and answers a request end to end.
T2 18 devices A 70B model split across devices as a pipeline — batch work such as drafts and audits, not chat.
T3 50 devices The same 70B with several requests in flight and speculative decoding — close to interactive.
T4 450 devices A frontier-class mixture-of-experts model, batch only.

Sizes assume 4-bit weights — about 0.6 GB per billion parameters — and 3× redundancy, because devices come and go. The memory assembled so far (12 GB) would hold a model of roughly 6.7B parameters. 11 device(s) have joined the network so far. An AI-ready device just needs about 8 GB of free memory — add yours and the shared model gets more capable.

Confirmed by two or more independent devices in 31.8% of the last 7 days’ checks (48,109 results). The rest are kinds only one device in the fleet can run yet — each result always shows how many agreed.

Only consensus pays. A result no other device confirmed earns nothing — for anyone.

The pool that pays contributors is funded by real customer demand for the network's work — no demand, no emission. That is what keeps a point worth something.

Built to be trusted with your device

What a device does, what it never touches, and how to stop it in one click.

Consent first

You accept clear terms before a device does anything, and see exactly what it will run.

No personal data

No browsing history, files or cookies — only results of checks on public websites the network assigns.

Fully auditable

Both agents are open and readable, and every task your device ran is listed in your log.

You are in control

Pause or remove a device any time from the dashboard, the browser extension or the CLI agent.

Only public targets

Devices probe the public addresses the dispatcher hands out — never your own systems or browsing.

Not mining, not a VPN

No hashes are computed and your connection is never resold. Only verifiable measurements and human judgement.

Run a website and would rather the network left it alone? Exclude your domain

What to expect

A single always-on device earns a few AP a day, not an income. AP has no rate against money and is not traded anywhere: it is spent inside the network. The pool is funded by real customer demand for the network's work, the emission formula is published, and no yield, price or date is promised.

Roadmap

The road to ASTRA on TON

Marked live, next or later — with no dates we cannot keep.

  1. liveEarn Astra Points

Devices earn AP for verified work; people’s work is paid in sparks, and once a week the sparks score takes its share of the AP pool. Points accumulate and are spent inside the network — no rate, no promised dates or prices.

  2. liveSpend on perks

AP buys skins and gear for Astra, boosters and features that open with points. Prices are in AP and stay in AP: there is no rate to money. Points can be passed to another participant within published limits — the Astra Points page has them.

  3. nextTON bridge

Link a TON wallet, convert AP to the ASTRA jetton and withdraw on-chain.

  4. laterASTRA trades

DEX listing on TON after the economy proves itself. No dates and no price promises — by design.

FAQ

Questions, answered straight

The things people ask before letting a network onto their device.

Pulsar — frequently asked questions
How much will I actually earn?

Today: a few AP a day per device. Your dashboard lists every task the device ran and what it earned each day — there is no per-task price, because the pool is shared out by trust, not paid per unit. The pool grows only when paying customers consume the network's work — no demand, no emission, no inflation.

What can my device actually do?

Right now: confirm public sites are up and measure their speed, audit TLS and security headers, watch page content for changes and keep a verified text archive, check DNS consistency, ports, keywords, JSON APIs and transfer compression, and compute on-device content fingerprints — all from your real connection. Human labeling runs in the Telegram Mini App. Search-rank checks are built and waiting on a review of search-engine terms.

What is the Opus-4.8-class AI goal?

As enough devices with spare memory join, the network can host a large open model itself — our own frontier-class AI, distributed across contributors, with no vendor and no per-token bill. The counter at the top shows how far along we are.

How does it make AI smarter?

People answer small questions — is this review spam, which title reads better, what is this sentiment. Answers agreed by many become labeled data that trains and evaluates Astrina's AI features. More contributors, better models.

Is this mining or bandwidth sharing?

Neither. No hashes are computed and your connection is never resold. The network pays for verifiable measurements and human judgement, nothing else.

What data do you collect from my device?

Task results (status, timings, header presence, a content fingerprint), the agent version, and connection info: your IP address plus the country and subnet derived from it, kept so independent devices can be told apart. Erasing your data removes it. Nothing else — both agents are readable and every task is in your log.

When does the ASTRA Token launch?

After the points economy proves itself with real demand, and not before a proper legal review. We deliberately publish no dates. Points you earn now convert at the published rate when the bridge opens.

The network is young. Early devices grow trust first.

Trust builds with confirmed work over time — a device connected today outranks one connected next month. That is the only early-adopter advantage we offer, and it is real.

Watched right now — every one of them ours. No borrowed logos: the network is young, and these are the sites it actually checks.
